Thyroid resection improves perception of swallowing function in patients with thyroid disease

Conclusions  In patients with thyroid disease, uncomplicated thyroidectomy leads to significant improvements in many aspects of patient-reported
swallowing-related QOL measured by the SWAL-QOL instrument.
