Hemangioma of the thyroid gland in an adolescent with chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis and adenomatous hyperplasia

Abstract  We report a case of benign hemangioma of the thyroid gland which involved one lobe of the thyroid gland in an adolescent female
with classic chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis and adenomatous hyperplasia. The lesion produced a clinical picture suspicious
for malignancy owing to the presence of a very large cold nodule on scan, lack of response to TSH suppression, and the subsequent
